New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I’m in the south lower and got say my experience is completely different to others.

Had no problem getting served (we do usually head down on around 39 to get the beers in - no different to Goodison).

I’ve also found the toilet queue is often because people are queuing in single file to use the first block of urinals when you can swing around to the second block.

Just my own observations.
I'm Lower South too, and my Dad/Brother are Lower East. I find it's busy in the South but walk around the corner and it much less busy in the East and more spacious.

Like you say, people seem to see a queue and join it when they can walk a bit further along and there's no queue. We had no trouble getting served for anything yesterday or using the toilet, both before the game and at half time.

My lads in Club view. The first thing we spoke about was what's the view from the seat like?. He said brilliant.
So, all other things aside, this is very important. Its why we go!
The rest of the stuff is a stinker though and not acceptable.

It's incredible.

The opposite side view of the pitch is silly money, so I'm glad there's an option I could get.

I think they announced Club View a little late until after the take-up of Village Street etc

Club View has to be the most ill though plan ever. Sold to me as a lounge experience, I have had my ST for a thousand years so could have gone most places in the ground but chose this, what a mistake. Unfortunately, as their is a lack of STs next year their will be no where to move to!

After the first home game balls up where I was not able to spend my money so graciously Everton double up for the Villa game, now I have 2 games worth that I could not spend.

Everton missing out massively, they run out of doughnuts for every game so far, LFC would have just made more! Run out of all food except hotdogs (cold!!) and pies (burnt), any forward thinking club would make more!!

Pepsi and other drinks warm as no ice, any other club would have ice, why do fast food chains make so much money on soft drinks? Its all ice.

Even crisp, the things that keep for ever they run out of.

If they had more outlets for just alcoholic drinks I think the food ques would be smaller.

Their is plenty of rooms for more outlets where the lifts are because the one lift available to Club View is always full of empty food trolleys or people coming up from the 1st and second tiers.
This is the one, put bespoke ale only counters on and take the pressure off the other counters. Pie or a pint until the ergonomics of the counter functions can be fixed. People are now at the pre rage point of warning shots across the bow, it'll only get louder and nastier from here and then there's the inevitable "Everton fc does not condone any abuse towards any staff" announcement, and that further escalates the issue.

Club needs to start waking up because there's a significant number now talking up swerving concessions at the ground completely and enjoying food n drinks in town and on the doorstep instead.

Fix it or get fecked off. Make a choice time.

I'm in the Upper East, and I would say the atmosphere is not as good as it was in the Upper Bullens. Not enough moaning or shouting "turn! turn!" for my liking. But I thought the noise in general was pretty decent. Could do with some flags or something in the South Stand because it doesn't look all that intimidating, but the singing (when it happened) was on a par with the Gladwys Street in my opinion.

Anyway, I'm loving the new place so far. My main complaint is that you can't seem to get a bar of chocolate anywhere in the ground. I love a Twix me. And that it takes days to actually get out of the place, but then we're quite high up and in the middle of a row.

Walked there and back, which was lovely, but I'm wondering what the bus back into town is like? I didn't see any pass me, but maybe they go a different route? I got the bus to the ground from Liverpool One last time and that was sound.

I travel from Leeds have gone M62 into the city centre for all test events and matches so far. Yesterday was the worst journey (some said it was due to university’s returning this weekend), Mansfield was also tricky.

Approaching from the North sounds like it might be better but I’m worried about parking options from the North - I was expecting businesses to open up like the taxi club parking used to but haven’t seen any options mentioned on here and haven’t been early enough pre match yet to risk exploring.

Grateful for any suggestions. (Moving from Leeds probably won’t fly) 😀
Come off M62 and then join the M57 mate and come down Dunningbridge road. Be careful there are speed cameras here and they all work.
Left at the docks and go along to Forge street, park anywhere around there.
Put Forge street in your sat nav but make sure it take you the M57 way otherwise you are going through the city centre

I've been in the East Upper for every game. Queues for food/drink and toilets far greater than I experienced at Goodison. Very disappointing. 'teething problems' don't cut it. More like incompetence and taking the fans for granted.......again.
Feel the same, East upper too. Scran and liquids will be had before entering the plaza

As if I wrote this myself. Also East upper, and see one bus on the walk back to lime Street. Pretty sure walking atm is the only way to get my train on time. Will change my mind when it lashes down

Is it not a case of them taking x amount as like a deposit/holding charge and it will be refunded?

I'm in the trenches in club view though so no idea about all the trendy stuff elsewhere.
Probably so, and likely some of it be refunded in a week. But £8 sausage roll and then you see two separate transactions totalling £30 is asking for lots of admin.
No-one wants to be concerned or even bothered about a single transaction, nor checking their bank account after such experience. First impressions n all that, they've totally lost my custom, even if it all works itself out. Feck em.

Even in that frustrating 0-0, once it got going, the atmosphere was louder than 95% of games at Goodison. Is it bad to say i'm not missing GP at all at the moment?

Goodison could be amazing, especially under the lights. But, let’s face it, it was often more intimidating for our own players than the opposition. The players look unburdened in the new stadium. Look at the difference in Keane, for example.
