New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

If they can half the queue times, I think most would tolerate it. 40+ minutes to get a Pepsi doesn't work.

The first problem was the bar was never of sufficient size - it was obvious and to be fair, they've tried to resolve that by "doubling" the number of points of sale (they haven't).

But for me, the logistics of redeeming the credit, and the catering partner are the problem. I was first in the ground and it took 7-10 minutes to place the order. I had to make 3 different transactions, 3 were serving me, and they still had to ask for help.

I think if they had Sodexo/Compass, rather than Aramark - it would be a lot better.

This was 1hr10m before kickoff - it doesnt look too bad, at Goodison this is 15 mins but the queue doesn't move fast enough.

I've wrote it off from a catering point of view - I'll just eat/drink in town instead.

Ive been to i reckon a good 60+ grounds and so far we’ve been the worst for chaotic food and drinks in the new ground.

Theres a place i go when go amsterdam that does food and its in little lockers, pay, door opens you grab and walk off. Something like that would make it way more efficient, likewise with self service none alcohol drink machines or vending machines.

Queues being majority for alcohol would make this way more efficient otherwise loads in the busier sections will be missing a lot of the games stuck in a queue.

Club View has to be the most ill though plan ever. Sold to me as a lounge experience, I have had my ST for a thousand years so could have gone most places in the ground but chose this, what a mistake. Unfortunately, as their is a lack of STs next year their will be no where to move to!

After the first home game balls up where I was not able to spend my money so graciously Everton double up for the Villa game, now I have 2 games worth that I could not spend.

Everton missing out massively, they run out of doughnuts for every game so far, LFC would have just made more! Run out of all food except hotdogs (cold!!) and pies (burnt), any forward thinking club would make more!!

Pepsi and other drinks warm as no ice, any other club would have ice, why do fast food chains make so much money on soft drinks? Its all ice.

Even crisp, the things that keep for ever they run out of.

If they had more outlets for just alcoholic drinks I think the food ques would be smaller.

Their is plenty of rooms for more outlets where the lifts are because the one lift available to Club View is always full of empty food trolleys or people coming up from the 1st and second tiers.

Need a bit of advice, someone might know the answer if not I will try to contact Everton (give me strength guys). My seat is in North Upper block 245 and I enter the stadium though turnstile 2. The issue I am having is getting up the steps due to 2 knee operations and back surgery in the last 6 years. I have noticed there are lifts not far away from 245 but I have not seen them when I enter turnstile 2. Firstly are the lifts around turnstile 2 and secondly would I be able to use them as I not classed as disabled but I do struggle bit style. Before any one asks why I never got a seat in the lower section there was none available when it was my time to pick a seat. Thanks Colin

Why did you get a seat in the upper tier?

No, because other stadiums have multiple angles of attack - so to speak. We just have the wall as an entrance so they’ll be there to ensure only ticketed fans are able to get in
Well that’s crap. I was never frisked walking through the turnstiles at the Gwladys. Why now? Only possible reason I can think of is they’ve realised the location is too small on the other side of the wall. Crap.

Entrance 3 is an accessibility entrance, think that has lifts.

Agree mate. It's not hyberbole either. Ive been to countless stadiums and arenas over the years and Club Views the only one one I've been unable to get served. Twice.

Seems a logical but technical solution is to be able to transfer the £10 credit.
If not technically possible, remove the credit and issue a voucher ot token to fans on entering

Whilst it would be perceived as backing down, I'd refund the credit for now until everything else is resolved.

It would be a massive difference. The club have been told this.

Their catering partner have a digital first agenda though;

With the goal of creating a digital-first stadium

I also think there's commercial reasons why they won't allow discount to be stacked one on transaction - because forcing £10 discount per transaction dictates you lose a few quid, or spend a few quid.

Goodison was not an "acoustically" good stadium my friend. Over hanging tiers prevented that.

It was more a case of too few people directly under those high roofs, with only 18 rows of seats in the upper tiers on 3 sides, if that had been 30+ rows, it would have been far noisier generally. There are lots of stadia with overlapping tiers that have great acoustics and are consequently tighter arenas generally too.... it's more about the proportions and roof geometries.

When we as a fan base did get going, it was pretty darn loud or at least it seemed so from our seats.
I thought the same, it got going when Digne went down before we took the corner, was very loud, so I’m not sure where this idea has come from that it was the stadium’s fault that it's not loud..... can only come to the conclusion they haven't been in it yet.
