New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

So who the feck wants the ear bashing for this? Everton fan services or the yanks?
It'll be their downfall, tech isn't the answer, well this getup isn't. Stupid idea, stupid me for trying it

I was in that 919 queue Manx, and due to a recent foot injury had no option on walking.
The first two buses filled up quick smart and set off about 5.20 they then had to drive into town and then fight their way back in.
One arrived at about 6.35 by then the road clean up gang had come along and removed all the bus lane cones !!
I Arrived at Commutation Row pretty quickly though it had to be said.

But for 1 and a quarter hours we were all stood there watching the traffic go by*
*Now at gone 6 o'clock was this match traffic or general traffic??

Living in Australia and at my age, this was my one and only time.
God help the poor punters who will have to do it on a regular basis, especially in the winter when its cold dark and wet.
I'm as keen an Evertonian as the next bloke but there no way I'd be doing that on a regular basis - sod that for a lark.

I know its only Game 2 and it's early days yet, but somebody (Who ?) needs a good arse kicking for this.

It's not too hard...
Pre-match the bus numbers are maybe OK (??) because people arrive over 2 and a half hours
post match - put on more buses to cope with the short term load and make them free to speed the loading process...include it in the already exorbitantly expensive ticket.
I know 52,000 people won't use public transport so a nominal 25p?? out of the ticket price and pay the bus companies direct.

Get somebody in charge who knows wtf they're doing !!
This is what`s done at Brighton and it works really well as the ground is a good distance from the main train station. The club could surely afford to cover the cost of transport after the game to get fans away, and with it running smoothly it can only encourage folks to come back more often. It seems to me the focus was on getting a stadium that visually looks great, but some of the basic things like avoiding huge queues entering the ground, fans able to afford food and get served promptly, looks to have been over looked.

You should get your refund in a week! Thats how long it took for them to refund me after the Brighton game. self service is a good idea, but Aramark can’t be dragging it out that long.

Would you consider petitioning the other club view buyers to then present a united feedback to the club regards this failure?
Feedback has to go back to the club, which I will do. If I’m honest they have sought feedback after the other games but haven’t yet on this one.

As for petitioning other fans, no. Haven’t got the time for that. People I’m sure will feedback their own experiences.

Going back to the stewards inside the stadium watching the game yesterday from accessibility platforms behind the goal. They are designed for the disabled and their companions alone. There's a reason for that in terms of access to them and safe exiting from them.

They're supposed to be as clear as this:

...not congested like this with stewards and coppers blocking entrance and exit....

Someone needs to be asking HUGE questions about the transgression of stadium safety protocol by people who are supposed to be there to make people safe.

It really does beggar belief this.

If there's anyone from EDSA on the forum I'd like to hear their views.

I reckon if someone from club view could organise a few voices of descent then it would speak louder of the problem than individual feedbacks much easier brushed off. There has to be a number of club view seats, so there is a known amount of people experiencing similar problem/s.

This really does need addressing before the new stadium novelty wears off and the harsher weather arrives, as it will deter some people going forward. The buses should be loaded quickly, with fares collected in the queues and the temporary bus lane should continue right up to the Junction with Leeds St/Strand as a minimum.... with priority at lights. With similar priority and segregation on the way back for quick turnaround. Car drivers should be able to see these buses moving easily through the traffic to convince them to leave their cars at home. Ultimately, this should be a hard-wired fast shuttle service at least to the edge of the city centre, that can shift thousands per hour, not gridlock with each bus barely doing one return trip per hour. It's just a 1 mile journey to the Liver Bldgs, buses should be easily doing 4-5 shuttle runs per hour. Saw some fully loaded Liverpool One buses unable to move because the Lime St buses ahead were not yet fully loaded. Perhaps the 2 destinations should be split, with one set of buses in a side street.... if easy turnarounds are available. Far from ideal. Thankfully the trains seem to be working effectively.

Without a shadow of doubt, everyone around me in the queue where frustrated yesterday, it won’t be long before noise is made. The club is aware of the problems, as we have had a number of emails from the club regarding it.

From a personal perspective I have a young family, stressful job and trying to build a business I haven’t the time to petition anyone just about petition my 4 year old.

I’m not even sure how to feedback tit he club, I’ll be damned if I’m sitting on hold for hours to speak to them. Does anyone know how we feedback to the club??

There's more presence there because it is pitch side, it's easier pushing past one row of wheelchairs and their accompanying able bodied whoever to lay a punch on a player than it is to smash through the equivalent four rows of seated people in a block. And like all entrances/exits in every part of the ground, a permanent presence is required at all times, in the case you highlight above it is a perfect alignment of both.

I think I count 9 yellow hi-vis there, just to check, is that also a cordon between home and away seats?

Suddenly it becomes a lot less underhand doesn't it veckles...
