Cost us 3 points yesterday a competent striker bags a brace should of been one nil up in 2 minutes. Got to give Barry time but hope going for him over Woltemade before his price shot up doesn't come back to haunt us. He scored a great header yesterday.

Yesterday finally put to bed the idea that Beto was a finisher. He spent more time banging his own head like a nutter than controlling the ball. I like the bloke - who doesn't like a trier- but he is not good enough.
Interestingly heās mates with the Liverpool players more than the Everton players. You see him hanging around with the reds out of work all the time, hope heās been taking notes for next weekend.
Beto was poor today he was wasteful in front of goal and probably cost us 2 points. The problem was, when Moyes replaced him with Barry, the youngster looked slow off the mark and one paced. I think Villa's back 4 looked more comfortable once Beto went off. It's a conundrum really, neither of them are the answer, but, they are our options. With the comfort on the ball we have going forward at the moment, perhaps it's worth trying a 4-3-3 set up.

Aye. He was poor yesterday in front of goal, which nobody can deny, but he scored us important goals last season and is already on two goals.
It's entirely fair to critique yesterday's performance and ask questions, although getting on his back ain't going to help because we need his goals.

Canāt help but love the fella, works his plums off and is always a handful for the opposition - I thought konsa and mings got away with murder on him yesterday, the defending team always seem to be given lots of leeway on fouls on Beto, but hooper was particularly abysmal.

I hope so mate, he's a likeable lad and a trier I'll give him that, he's got to convert more of these chances though.
