2025/26 David Moyes

Spurs were linked to Iraola last summer and seemingly the word was he wasn't interested in leaving Bournemouth yet. He probably feels he can have a Forest type season and with the start they've made they have a good chance of that.

I think more realistic is someone like Glasner. Frustrated by Palace's limited transfer strategy and you feel he's taken them as far as he can already. Trophy winning manager who's also done very well in Europe so he's exactly the type you'd want for the next step in perhaps a year of trying to win something and/or european qualification through the league.
Really depends what position moyes puts us in and i think does deserve a chance to show what can do. As already look like to improve on what we have had with dyche and the rest. I do think tfg will want european football this season or next. As he will be backed with money moyes. But agree would like us to start planning for managers for the future. Might not have people agree with me on this one but evej silva at fulham i think has done a great job and feel was unlucky at his time here

Do any people just enjoy the journey these days? Who knows how high this team can go?

I credited him with taking Iroegbunum off and putting Rohl on...doing something as it was an issue for us in MF.

But he let that game peter out to a 0-0 at home against a weak Villa team.

That's not anything but rational critique of an underperforming manager.
Oh I agree you were fair. Your views on Moyes are you own, and have clearly been consistent for years. Some of the hysterics across other threads tonight, after just a couple of good results followed by a decent draw but honestly two points dropped, are really frustrating. Everything is either Europe chasing utopia or consigning Moyes to the Dante’s eighth circle of hell. Nothing in between. It’s exhausting.

Ha Ha Ha. The utter chutzpah.

"1 defeat in 20 matches".
Think you cant really have to many complaints with moyes this time around has done well. I would accept the leeds performance even with players out was poor and even today felt had subs today and maybe could have used the bench more to bring us the 3 points. But i am happy so far with him as i do feel the club is moving in the right direction. Also the expectations will get higher in the future, i would say the points we have would argue that is about what most fans would have wanted when the fixtures come out
