2025/26 David Moyes

Do I have to repeat myself?

Two steps forward,,,one step back,,,is the Moyes way,,,he's happy to be the victim in upper mid table,,,for whatever reason that may be,,,he's a multi millionaire,,,i'm only concerned about EFC

We had a chance to go joint top of the league today and he never delivered,,,
No need to repeat yourself you were talking rubbish the first time, the second time just reinforces it. Thanks for confirming!

We'll always be bang average under Moyes. Some might say that's a price worth paying to stay safe. And that's understandable, I suppose.

I'd rather we'd have gone out and got the far superior Iraola. He'll have Bournemouth higher than us this season and we probably have a better squad.
(Rightly) Sacking Dyche when we did hamstrung us. Mid season, mid window and with are stock at rock bottom. Was always going to be an out of work manager. On that basis we’ve done very well out of it to be fair.

I understand those who have ALWAYS been wary of Moyes. I sat and watched every minute at Goodison in his first spell. If people have those opinions, he hasn’t enough career left to change their minds, and that is totally fine. But some reactions after todays game about Moyes, team selection, Keane being excellent, wasting money on Dibbling are psychotic.

I’m surprised you’re not calling for Martinez back. I thought he was the eternal saviour?

I credited him with taking Iroegbunum off and putting Rohl on...doing something as it was an issue for us in MF.

But he let that game peter out to a 0-0 at home against a weak Villa team.

That's not anything but rational critique of an underperforming manager.

I appreciate in your posts the constructive criticism you’ve given Moyes, and you’ve made no secret of your desire for Irola. Right or wrong you’ve nailed your colours to the mast and I can respect a differing point of view to my own.

But in what way has Moyes underperformed since he’s arrived here?? Nobody know how any other manager would perform under the circumstances but we can be sure that Moyes form has been nothing short of excellent since he arrived.
