Apologies if the wrong thread. Complete gridlock at the Gt Howard St/Leeds St junction. We are on the 919 and been on it for 40 minutes already. Won't be doing this route again!

I don’t know what was going on with the traffic today, but it took us 45 minutes to drive from Love Lane car park to Scottie. Took abar 15 minutes after the Brighton game. I was wondering whether they had messed around with the traffic lights or something

Need to stick some plod on there to keep it flowing, had loads cutting up paisley st way, well most from regent rd side streets. Plus some dickheads walking out infront of buses almost being hit. It will improve hopefully as could work really really well and for those who can't walk it (or lazy like me) its needed.

Did you go to the Brighton game? I thought today’s atmosphere was in comparison, Although I didn’t think it was any quieter than the average game at Goodison.

Brighton was always going to be good being first game and also going 1-0 up. Today was more a frustrating game of missed chances and away team time wasting at every opportunity in second half.

I did feel in second half it was less intense than attacking the Gwladys when in those type of games you did feel the fans would eventually suck the ball in from heavy spells of pressure but again I'm probably over romanticizing the old gal already.

I don't think the atmosphere will be as good for the simple reason it is far more spacy between touchline and pitch, bet the players are relieved when they're taking throw ins or corners not having people breathing on them or touching their backs!

Weirdly I also find it strange not having the dug outs directly facing the camera. Also still watching these games imagining it with Goodison stands still.

Just need to bed in still but three games with no goals conceded is good with more winnable games to come over the next few months.

Club View still awful. Ran out of food before K.O., queues just as long and management who just don’t seem to care.

A lot of the singing appears to come from the upper South, the lower needs to up its game.

I have heard that Club View is the fans fault.

people wanting to get everything they want included in their £20 voucher. so if it's 1p over the £20 they are apparently having a meltdown and redoing their entire order to make it under £20 rather than just putting their ungrateful hands in their own pockets and paying a single penny..

kopite behaviour from our richest fans who can afford the most expensive tickets if you ask me.

Councillor Joe Hanson was at the end of a road block on Barmouth Way telling people with Blue Badges that they can’t park there, even though they could.

Thankfully a traffic warden corrected him but it caused my autistic brother an almighty amount of stress.

It was a Saturday at 5pm, with town still open and people heading in for the evening, rather than a Sunday at 4pm.

At Christmas with more traffic on the roads, it’ll be fairly hectic.

Got into ground, upper south, 1 50ish, no trouble getting served, plenty of room even 20 mins before ko. Only gripe is, people standing by the bars with their drinks on the bar blocking us getting served. Also, another idiot trying to take his beer to his seat ffs, stewards were quick to stop him.

I didn’t see any evidence of that. I did see that none of the food price lists at the main outlet were working so no one knew what was available or what it cost till they got to the front of the queue, service was slow, people struggled with how to use the vouchers as a lot of them were still not that familiar with using contactless on a mobile, no pale ale, the only draft beer was lager and they ran out of food (again). Would have been much easier to get a drink at the e-bar but you can’t use the voucher (that you’ve already paid for) there. The concourse is overcrowded and overall seems to be a worse experience than other parts of the ground although the view from the seats is great.
