We played well, created enough chances to win and limited Villa to barely anything. Just one of those days when the ball won’t go in. Barry needs to start ahead of Beto and Rohl ahead of Tim. It would have been nice to see Dibbling given 5 or 10 mins but I understand why Moyes kept him benched.

Missing piece in the puzzle is clearly a striker. The main goal threat… and ours isn’t up to it.
It is also maybe the hardest piece to find. With almost all sides playing with a lone central striker, the demands on that player are extraordinary - he has to be able to act as a target, hold up the ball, pose a threat with runs in behind the defenders, have pace and physicality and be a good finisher. Very few are players fit that bill and the price is at a premium.

"Iroegbunam is amazing"

"Harrison Armstrong is nothing special"

Two statements from you to embarass yourself with to add to your constant lies and rudeness.

I hope youre single.

Thought we played well in large parts but just couldn't find the killer goal.
But Villa put in a good away performance and defended well I thought, hence the clean sheet.

A little disappointed to be fair, can't help feel we let two points go there.

agree but mate past gone by we would of lost that.

i’m seething but there is a bigger picture here and we’re in transition

and look far better

I think he didn't want to take Grealish or N'Diaye off and then he obviously thinks KDH gets through a lot of work in the middle of the park. Could've rolled the dice. Understand why he didn't.

I just think we were missing overload in the wide areas with someone like Baines backing up one of the wingers.
Managers get paid to make them choices though mate. If you freeze because you’re terrified to do the wrong thing, you’re probably in the wrong game.

Self-awareness is signing KDH and leaving him on 90mins when hes having a nightmare to affect the game.

McNeil, Dibling, Alcaraz all there wondering what they need to do.
Yeah. For the first time in a while we have options in those forward positions. KDH having a stinker? Bring on Charly. I get the nightmare scenario for him there is Charly contributing to a game-losing move, but that’s the life of a manager. No decision is still a decision, and today it looks like the wrong one.

We've just played a team that came 6th in the league last season and for most of the game at least, we were the better side. Progress people. We were probably unlucky not to get a result in the end but definitely huge strides and we should all be proud of our club atm. I'm sire we will oontinue to see this pattern and keep improving throughout the season, whilst also reinforcing again in January. As an Evertonian my head has always been held high but now it's higher for good reason. Attractive, attacking and creative football has returned at long last. Yes there will be mistakes, players will underperform, but we are most definitely back boys and girls and I for one and so utterly thankful, get behind this journey because it has seriously started.
