Better than Barry for sure at the moment...but some really bad misses today. Great movement and put a lot of pressure on their defence.

Barry was heavily involved in 2 or 3 goals so far, Beto has done sweet FA

I like Beto and not suprised he’s preferred as the starter, but when he’s having an off day, and we’ve got at £27m alternative, he’s got to go for an early bath.
Could see after 30mins it wasn’t his day.

Been working on his holdup play which is good, but guilty of overthinking it when running in behind.

Think he still starts the derby as we'll probably be sitting back.

For me, Barry has to get longer when Beto is stinking the place out like today.

Can't expect Barry to build consistency unless he gets extended minutes himself.

Couldn’t agree more. He basically cost us three points today. His finishing is so hit and miss….sadly more miss. He works hard but a forward is judged on goals. Any half decent PL striker would have put one of those chances away today. So frustrating.

Neither Beto nor Barry were ever going to be the answer for us this season. Everyone knew it and the club just let us settle for those two as our (non) cutting edge strikers.

Should have been on after 60 at the latest. I'm not a fan of half-time subs for players missing chances - at least they are getting into the right areas - but after 15 of the second half nobody could feel aggrieved. Moyes gives the impression of not rating some of his new signings. Now, perhaps this is his way of husbanding inexperienced players and choosing the right moment to unleash them, but his starting line-up gave the nod to longer-serving players over new signings in almost every 50-50. That suggests a degree of conservatism that, let's be honest, we all know lurks very close to the Moyesiah's wizened surface....

He is/was and you are right but in recent times it appears his weaknesses have been forgotten.

Worst striker e seen in a long time, up there with Rondon and way behind Niasse and Tosun. He will cost us any chance of challenging Europe, typical Everton sort out defence and midfield out, to then have no strikers.
