Had a solid game for me...there was always 2 players on him, so hard really...confident that if he continues like that he will get plenty of assists and goals for us.

He needs to go cleanly by people to do it. He gets guys turning every which way but he’s not ever taking them totally out and it makes it hard to get the shots away.

Team will double on him. If the LB can overlap or exchange position at times it will be easier for him to get rid out of the marker. Or some position switch with AM will work. Still quite good game. Need a bit luck. Maybe next week.

Have we already started to over rely on Grealish? I’m all for getting value out of a loan, but Villa seemed to double team him whenever they could. He got plenty of crosses in though, just no luck at the other end.

Team will always double on him. Even when he was at City during Treble run he was doubled. That freed Gundogan.

The issue is how to utilize the situation.

I think in most occasions he prefers to just slip in a player making the run on the outside.

Last 20 minutes was crying out for a natural LB on the overlap. How good would Grealish and Baines have been as a combination for instance?

With Myko and Garner that is the next position to sort out unless the feeling is Aznou will adapt enough to start getting starts around November/December?

I thought this today: on more than one occasion, he had the opportunity to get a shot off on either his left or right foot.

Dont think was an overlap on him all game and i thought garner played well. Just what we need both sides to create space so ndiaye and grealish can cut in or the fb can take a man away because of the run
