New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yes, favourites of mine as a kid.

Apparently, the series lasted only three years. Incredible the cultural impact such animations had, and that catchphrase transcended the entire show.

Dan Meece. Nope, still not accepting that...

Call me old-fashioned, but "two-pint" glasses of beer are almost as vulgar as Sam Allardyce's pint of wine.

I like a drink, but Jaysus, I don't think it needs to be hooked to my liver...
I’d be more worried about it getting warm and flat than anything else.

The Aussies have it right with their schooners. There’s nothing manly about a big, warm vessel of beer.

The Pump House wasn't offered to them, even though they did inquire about it. The Blue House offers a whole floor, decent space and rates.

To me, it's a bit of a culture shock going from the church to a boozer.

I just think they're a bit too genteel for all that.

Some irony also in a heritage society having links with a bar given the temperance connections in the history of the club.

Don't them boyo's have stubby's and stubby holders? Have you seen what crawls in the bush over there? I'd be having vodka on my weet-bix!

Anyway, we looking at rain on the river today or is it brightening up?

I’d suggest you send them an email providing a suitable alternative in close proximity at the rate they’ve got, which was favourable.

They're an affiliated part of the club: why isn't the club sorting them somewhere out other than a boozer that plays music at stupid decibels?

It's like putting an order of Bendictine monks in the Hacienda.

Lovely to see the great Peter Beardsley. Talk about a shining light in the early 90s. If it wasn't for who he had played for - and for how relatively short the time he played for us was - he would arguably be recognised as the best player who played for this club in the last 35 years. What a magnificent, clever, and technically adept player he was - with the workrate to match.
