'half pint plastics' sounds like quite the slur.
You know what's nuts? There's a load of business turning up around the new ground, and they're capitalising on the club and connections to the history, as above. But the business (EFC) has signed over to budweiser, so the best pints in town are on it's doorstep instead of inside.

Very easy indeed mate. Lots of free 2 hour parking nearby. If you need more time the Tai Pan NCP is just a 2 minute walk away.

The pump house would have been appropriate for them.

I cant see the Blue House gig lasting long.

The Pump House wasn't offered to them, even though they did inquire about it. The Blue House offers a whole floor, decent space and rates.

Best be extra clear if you’re ordering a pint for yourself and your mate, or else you’ll be sharing a romantic drink with two straws.

Call me old-fashioned, but "two-pint" glasses of beer are almost as vulgar as Sam Allardyce's pint of wine.

I like a drink, but Jaysus, I don't think it needs to be hooked to my liver...

Apparently, the series lasted only three years. Incredible the cultural impact such animations had, and that catchphrase transcended the entire show.
