The whole trilogy has been first class but Arrow really have knocked it out of the park on this final release. The picture quality is outstanding, its never looked better,soundtrack is heavenly, 4 discs worth of material for those who dig: US cut, Italian extended cut, a whole disc of extras and I was delighted to find disc 4 was the fantastic documentary Sad Hill Unearthed:

I like Arrows stuff but I could really do without the posters, postcards and books they stuff in there.

I've hovered over the Man With No Name stuff a few times but I've a sneaking suspicion there's gonna be a boxset at some point down the line so I'll hold fire for that. I've already got the them on BluRay so can't justify the upgrade to buying them all separately.

Went to the cinema to watch " Weapons" at the weekend.

Not really a traditional horror, more of a disturbing, weird, psychological thriller. I did quite like the way they knitted the story together from different peoples perspectives overlapping each other, but i found the finale a bit OTT.

7/10.

I like Terminator over the second one although I really enjoy it also.

Terminator is like Alien, a purer realisation of the story, both successors were big budget high action up the ante follow ups.

Back to 'Memory', we've had a very poor attempt to imitate a scene from 'LA Confidential'.
Reminds me of 'The Shootist' this, old gun slinger in his last moments taking down the rabid dogs that've come for him.

If they follow their usual pattern there'll be a standard 4K release in the near future, the set I've got has all the discs in a regular size case.

Off to watch the new Demon Slayer film shortly. Read some complaints about it leaving some storylines open, even though this is the first film in a trilogy. It's like finishing Fellowship and raging that you don't know if they got the ring to Mount Doom or not.

Maybe I'm not. Walk in, take my seat, staff come in and say they can't get sub working is dub okay, walk out to get my refund. Had some snooty looks on the way down the stairs

It was pretty weak - don't think I laughed once, but on the upside it was well under 90 mins. I'm sure there was something interesting they could have done with it, but it seems more concerned with shoehorning in celebrity cameos than anything else.
