This is going to be such a fun watch

Just finished Freddie Flintoff's - cricket documentary 4 episodes - Field of Dreams - if anyone needs a knighthood its Freddie showing any governments in the UK how to solve our broken youth society & the way forwards in all the UK - open youth clubs -again , give teenagers something to aim at etc, etc, a great series yet again from him using Cricket , but anysport could do this - a fantastic insight to broken Britain ATM ....
The selling off of school fields has been the fulcrum of decline. Children tend to live locally to their schools (or at least some* school) but because of catchment areas, developer arm twisting, gentrification, cuts cuts and more tory cuts, and then a cost of living crisis, generations have gone deprived, and that turns up as a dearth of talent later. The Jason Robinson Foundation, has been very quietly doing something very similar with rugby union for kids in deprived areas for a good few years now Joey and he`s only had an OBE.
The problem that all these very worthy causes have with getting kids in deprived areas into sport / teams, is money ( as always ).
As much as they can supply them with all the kit, a pitch to play on etc, the kids still need footy boots / rugby boots and need to be able to travel to away games, which all costs money for their parents, which a lot of them can`t afford or they don`t have a car.
My lad often played rugby against Sefton, based in West Derby, so not a poor area, but a lot of the kids came from the likes of Dovecote and at tournaments and away games, it wasn`t unusual for them to be unable to put a full team out, due to lack of numbers.
It`s not as straightforward as you think.
Past Government's mainly over the last 20 years have closed the basic youth clubs down in every area - not just deprived areas - I had 3 to choose from in my youth - it's as plain as your nose on your face they need starting up again - Freddie Flintoff has proved this imo -The Jason Robinson Foundation, has been very quietly doing something very similar with rugby union for kids in deprived areas for a good few years now Joey and he`s only had an OBE.

The Government's responsibility to avoid knife crime etc etc
It is easy if the local authorities can reopen basic youth clubs imo
Do all kids want to go to youth clubs? Always gets raised as the answer to loads of problems. Get the impression kids are happier sending toxic messages from their bedroom on video games these days.Past Government's mainly over the last 20 years have closed the basic youth clubs down in every area - not just deprived areas - I had 3 to choose from in my youth - it's as plain as your nose on your face they need starting up again - Freddie Flintoff has proved this imo -

Sadly you have a point - but it's been self inflicted by cutbacks in youth facilities..Do all kids want to go to youth clubs? Always gets raised as the answer to loads of problems. Get the impression kids are happier sending toxic messages from their bedroom on video games these days.
Looks like a tired battle royale/ squid game crossover except with samurais
It was just a fairly easy watch. Lovely setting as you say. But very by the numbers.Untamed - Netflix.
Only six episodes, so an easy watch.
It`s nicely filmed, with some really stunning cinematography in the mountains and forests.
The premise is good, as is the way the story unfolds and Sam Neil and Eric Bana do a good job as the leads, but they`re let let down by the poor supporting cast, who give the whole thing the feel of an afternoon tv drama.
Could`ve been better.
