Mate, I was there in the Gwladys for the Wimbeldon game, me and my Dad.

I was there in the Gwladys when Rooney scored the pearler against Arsenal. I was also there in the Main Stand when he scored the goal from over the halfway line against West Ham.

I was there for Tarkys equaliser against them, I was also there for our 2-0 victory when Jarad scored and so did Dom.

I was there for the Chelsea game when Pickford made that save. I was outside finch farm seeing the players off when we went to Watford away. I used to stand outside the Winslow everytime I went the game with a few beers. I bought flares and was in the mixer for every bus welcome we did at Goodison. I was also there for the Palace game, sitting right above their fans.

I am a third generation Evertonian, with my Grandad still going in his 90’s until he passed away of covid. We played z cars when his coffin was carried in and I still have a blue rose from his funeral flowers which I kept in silica gel to remind me of him.

I have been the test event vs Bolton and more recently to Village Street during the cup. I am actually named after an Everton player, my Dads favourite.

Please don’t question me again, you will look very foolish.
Did you by any chance happen to see the headlock? Could do with an eye witness like

EDIT: sorry for joke post after what was clearly an impassioned defence of your credentials; I just couldn’t resist. For the record, you are either the most incredibly well researched and patient undercover red that I’ve ever seen or (obviously true) a proper Toffee. Respect brother

Christ. Surely nobody is sad enough to be a red and post on an Everton forum. Where do people even get the time?

That was my seat for the Mansfield game.

He is a pen pusher though, no idea what he would do here, he isn't exactly going to bring Blooms algorithm with him is he. We have also just appointed a Sporting Director in the guy from Utd. Need to avoid the blue tinted glasses with this tbh, I can't see any other reason for it.
if the club has a role and he fits what the club still wants to add into the new system then is fine. He wouldnt just be coming here because of his past at the club. Is highly rated and has shown good at his job.

We have someone doing that job though, he isn't needed here and I don't see a role for him unless its some sort of loans/pathways manager which is pretty much what his role at Brighton was (tbf he did a good job at this)
