Match Thread Everton V Aston Villa. Sat Sep 13th. 3pm

Be great for another 3pts here, although I’d take a point as our defence really scares me with the injuries.

Is Myko out or something, haven't really followed what the Ukraine are up to in this break.

Was wondering if Branthy might be on the bench for this with view to him coming back into contention to start one of West Ham/Palace in a few weeks.

Defence will just have to be what it has been for the first three games. Got away with it a bit v Brighton and Wolves but the good news this season is this is now an attack you'd be reasonably confident can score 2-3 goals against many teams below top 8. Currently Villa are playing like a bottom half team so I'd be more looking what Ndiaye and Grealish can continue to do.

Not heard either way on Myko or Branthwaite, but assume they won't be rushed.
I think we have plenty to get excited about going forward, but against a decent attack our current back 4 setup won't be keeping clean sheets.
Hope we win though.

Missing this due to a frigging wedding....not best pleased, but thats life!
3-1 the Toffee's with Big Mick Kegger slamming in a blammo and both Villa full-backs spewing from dizziness on the pitch after Jack, Iliman and Tyler have strutted their merry stuff.

Martinez isnt even their first choice gk anymore, also they might appear better on paper that didn't stop Brentford and Crystal Palace easily beating them this season , still early but they haven't been good so far.

Wasn't that due to his potential transfer situation? I imagine now he's stayed put he will be in goal on Saturday.
