New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I only found this out yesterday but a friend of my brother in laws dad was at the Brighton game and had a massive stroke. They didn’t know what it was at the time and thought it might be a heart attack but they didn’t have a chair to remove him or a defibrillator anywhere near him. Poor guy ended up dying after the event. Fixing Club View and the length of a queue for a beer are the least of their worries

Awful news mate!! I thought the whole point of test events was for this. Surely there should have been people employed to test these things during the game. Response time, etc etc

Maybe it was something they didn’t test out. You’d think they would have staged an incident or something in each of the stands to test response times etc

Wow I’m suprised by that, wonder whether it was actually absence of equipment or lack of training / familiarity with where it was.
You would think in a place designed to hold 53k people, that sort of kit being missing would stop a safety cert being issued.

Info please! Travelling 48 miles. Usually use train to Lime St. Going to try by car. Which multi storey carpark is easiest/best to BMD to use for 919 OR 929 Shuttle bus? Easiest combination please as Pensioner and not good on legs! 😄

Try the Liner Hotel surface car park which is £6 for 6 hours at the side of Lime St. station 3 mins walk to the 919 bus . If full there are 2 other car parks in the same street Lord Nelson St. Just beware of turning into Lime St. itself as it's buses and taxis only.
