A corner bar. Late 70s, I had a mate who set up a room in his flat in Leith like a "Safari lounge". The wallpaper was jungle style and the music on the gramophone ranged from Dean Martin to Mario Lanza. The bar in the corner had two high spindly stools in front. It was lacking in sophisticated cocktails, however. Cans of McEwans Export were usually the order of the day before and after the match!

It was like that. But your friends have to be the right type to match. Hawaiian shirts and slacks. Hard to find in Leith even today.
