Nevs book is worth a read. The surprise was reading he'd had a couple of affairs.
Seeing as he didn't drink, socialise with his team mates and is generally a miserable sod that's good going.

I totally get where you're coming from with this comment, but Glasgow has always had an arts scene, which Nevin probably seemed more likely to have been into than some of the stuff the city is otherwise well known for.

His miserableness really did come across in the short five minute sample on Audible, yeah...

It was, on the one hand, slightly off-putting to think of listening to it for a full six hours and on the other hand, beautifully British.

Then he was talking about some fairly intense stuff, so it's probably to be expected.
