2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Is great we havent had to put him into the team, was out of the southampton team at the start of the season so is working his way back to match fitness. Is a long season will get game time, can see him starting the wolves game and getting more minutes off the bench. Is similar to rohl for me think we will really see the best of them after jan when can see moyes wanting them to step up with gana and ndiaye missing.

i think it's ideal he doesn't have to come in and hit the ground running straight away if he can keep the 3 forwards behind the striker (what is the collective term for those players in a 4231?) all fit and in form.

I think there'd be a lot of pressure on him with the price tag and how long the transfer took

with his frame and ability to carry the ball he could end up being a really effective sub on for either NDIaye or Grealish to see out the game

also hwo great is it that we're now going into games with NDiaye and Dibling as our rw options, when this time last year Dyche was jut throwin in Lindstrom or Harrison each week seemingly on a coin flip

Btw he is not close to lazy. He did basically three things for Southampton last year: dribble (elite), win fouls (elite), and pressure opponents (well above average). He puts the work in.
I don't question the talent or ethic. I question the footy IQ with Dibling. He is too young to write off and he can improve dramatically. At this very moment that is what he needs to improve for me. That is what Moyes is here for. To make him better and utilize his talent.

I'm excited to see more of him.

I'm sure Moyes will take it slowly unless he absolutely wows him in training and that's fine by me.
We’re thankfully in a position, where (barring injury) there’s no immediate rush to throw him straight in.

I feel this will benefit both us and the player, but sadly not the baying wolves eager to sink their teeth into another young talent.

I'm hoping that with Ndiaye showing he and Grealish can play both wings that folk will relax about him coming into the side.

There will always be the price hang up but that will be forgotten if he plays well and wants to stay here for a long time.

I think that was just the one poster, and he was resoundingly laughed at for it.

No mate … I got dogs abuse for saying he was crap … people were mentioning him in the same breath as drogba , Kane and others

Heaps of people would give me grief , it wasn’t just one or a couple of posters

Who are the baying wolves? I keep seeing them referred to but I haven’t read anything that bad - just a few people saying he looks a bit lethargic. I might have just missed it due to being lethargic myself.

I feel I’m letting myself out for pointing this out but the 1% of crazy should be treated as just that, than reflective of the fanbase.
I resent that slur
