Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Just 'cos I was looking into the Smith era signings, an 11 is possible.

Pettinger
Watson Gough Weir Pistone
Carsley
Alexandersson Gravesen Pembridge
Campbell Ferguson
No spare GK
Stubbs
Naysmith
xavier
Gascoigne
Hughes
Radzinski

They weren't all world beaters, but some of Smith's signings were instrumental to Moyes.
Who signed materrazi dacourt and Collins then? Or is this the team inherited by Moyes? Never forget Watson as a striker with a hat trick v Leeds and radzinski injury time winner v Southampton - possibly after young rooney came on as sub? Moyes really worked some magic with us. He made us proud to be blues again and I really think he's doing it again now

Yeah, he signed them as well, I was doing a bench of those we got a bit out of, Dacourt was sacrificed, Materazzi wasn't disciplined enough, and Collins let agent johnson have it to force his move to Tigana's Fulham. (his manager at Monaco).

Materrazi obvs went on to be one of the best in Europe. Dacourt kept getting booked but went on to do well at Leeds. Jon Collins was a tidy player. Really thought we'd kick on from there but we didn't
