Today’s Football 25/26 Season

England who have only one 1 tournament demand a manager who wins multiple tournaments consistently. Spurs fans who have won nothing in years turn against manager who won a euro trophy. West ham fans got rid of Moyes cos he only won a euro trophy for a team who have never won anything. Mental how fans demand immediate success. I blame football manager and FIFA computer games
Moyes also had his star player sold out from his side (granted it had been agreed before, but they cashed in and couldn't get close to a replacement).
Reminds me a bit of the John Collins thing here, promises made and not delivered, selling players a vision of how the club will go forward only to stitch them up. Tbf to Walter (rest his soul) he did find a few decent players, just wasn't allowed to keep em.

Remember getting excited buying materrazi, dacourt, Collins, possibly Bakayoko? Still didn't improve. Pretty sure that's when I accepted we were cursed.

Ps I'm certain Tuchal won't win anything. Southgate was the man for this world cup. Also fans have ready made hate for a German manager. Won't end well. I hope I'm wrong as always
I've been watching England for over 40 years. One thing has never changed: the manager is ALWAYS the problem - no matter who he is. Strange that, because they've had a lot of managers in that time, yet every single one of them was apparently the cause of English footballing woe.

The players have been getting away with murder for decades. England has produced many fine players over the years - but not nearly as many as the media and many of their fans thinks they have...

In one way it’s a good result. Should have been 5 or 6. Completely outplayed and 2 marginal VAR calls too
Yeah , it could have been a lot worse , the performance was terrible, the only good thing I seen was the after match interview, the interviewer didn't hold back with the coach

Not even that. We've got to semis and finals. Either been unlucky or lost to better teams in my opinion. Never understand this expectation to win. We've won 1 trophy ever. Getting knocked out in group stages I understand.
