He's quite obviously the worst defender we've ever had.

The only reason he's still here is because there isn't a football organisation in Christendom who'd enquire about his availability.

Had Toffee Tv on yesterday and apparently it was agreed but we pulled it which Patterson isn’t happy about. But it’s cause we couldn’t get Hector Fort in.

It still sounds unbelievable that Sevilla were after someone that would have effectively been Everton’s 4th choice ultra crap right back had we actually have signed someone like Hector Fort.

His wages are relatively low though, so maybe Sevilla were just wanting to waste their money on a cheap crap loan to make the numbers up?

Not really. Some players may suit other leagues more. He had interest in him prior to coming to us so maybe teams look at those attributes and reasoning and think, maybe that’s still there and he will suit our league more.

Sevilla also aren’t the Sevilla of old.

A bit like Kenny who was a bit crap as a PL defender but had a loan in Germany and did allright and then got a permanent deal over there.
