You might not agree mate, but that’s in no way shocking tbf. There’s a pretty strong argument for it, barring his time at Spurs which in hindsight was very much a club on the slide.

Still think it’s a bit of a hangover from how they finished last season. They were in the driving seat and only that Palace were demoted, they would have ended up in the conference league. Still a good season by their standards but it looks like the owner doesn’t see it that way. Be flabbergasted if they were successful in luring Silva, Irola or Glasner. Mourinho wouldn’t suit the style their owner wants to okay, so I’d be surprised if it wasn’t Ange.

Getting Forest into Europe is a massive achievement, and his time at Wolves was very impressive, too.

Apart from Moyes’s very recent pot with West Ham, his achievements were broadly similar.

They currently have the players best suited to Nuno and Mourinho's style of play.....if the owner wants to play a more entertaining open brand of football and challenge for Europe, it's gonna cost him a lot of money, and time...
