NFL 2025 Season

Baltimore proper snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Play calling got super cautious and then the fumble didn't help.

But on 4th and 3 with Lamar Jackson you have to go for it to ice the game. Terrible coaching decision by Harbaugh.
The other lesson they refuse to learn is when it’s time to make ball security the highest priority. That Henry fumble is a disaster because the ball shouldn’t be exposed in that spot to begin with.

Yep big mistake from a big player

I'm just baffled why they don't back Lamar more in those key pressure situations. He played almost a perfect game and didn't deserve to lose. But I do still thank him for winning me my fantasy match!

As a packers fan I was watching Alexander quite closely. Thought he was a real problem for the Baltimore secondary.

I could probably write 2000 words on why the Ravens failure to fully back Lamar has held them back for the last seven years. Ultimately you’re exactly right, it’s utterly baffling that not only did they not go for the 4th and 3, but they also called a screen and happily punted on a 3rd and 13 earlier in the game.

Alexander didn’t practice for a month before Wednesday and that showed.

The owner, GM and Harbaugh are all super close. I just don’t see anything happening.
If they stay healthy they look like the most complete team this year.

He won't get fired because he's got an OC who really helped Lamar. At worst Harbaugh is competent and if he fired its statisically more likely they'd get an Eberfleus than a good coach.

Vikings - all you had to do was trade for Geno. Heck at worst resign Daniel Jones just in case.
Looking like a deer in the headlights the boy McCarthy. But he's played all preseason and if McConnell didnt think he was ready I'm sure they would have got an experienced QB in.

I hope anyway.

Actually sometimes teams clear out the ex-starters so the new guy "isn't looking over his shoulder."

If the Vikings were coming off a 4-13 season, that's fine, they'd be in rebuilding mode. However they are super bowl contenders. They needed a solid vet and no that's not Carson Wentz who was like out of the league.

They had a solid vet and he won 1 playoff game…
