It’s pretty exciting and there’s a lot on. Locals tend to hate it though as it gets crazy busy and all the prices go up.Would love to do the Edinburgh Fringe Festival..

I stayed in Tindrum near the Green welly shop for a few nights couple of years ago and drove through Glencoe a few times on the way to a Fort William. Moved on from there and spent a couple of nights on a campsite in Glensheil which was stunning. Visited Skye, spent a night in my van in a car park in a little place called Pockton or Plockton which was nice as it was right on the edge of the Loch, got as far up as Applecross pass which was an experience to drive up and over. Can’t wait to go back to Scotland though and explore further North, beautiful country.Love Scotland
The scenery is amazing.
Glencoe has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
This is coming from someone who sailed through the Lamaire channel in Antarctica numerous times.
Not me mate. Impossible to forget that.Presumably everyone's deliberately looking over the fact that McGarr didn't play for Airdrie until his mid 30s?
It’s well worth going further north , this was Lossiemouth beach last Friday, 21deg.I stayed in Tindrum near the Green welly shop for a few nights couple of years ago and drove through Glencoe a few times on the way to a Fort William. Fort William is my home town. Made even more famous a few years ago when Sky sports did a section on them called "The worst team in Britain"I stayed in Tindrum near the Green welly shop for a few nights couple of years ago and drove through Glencoe a few times on the way to a Fort William. I love that comment - don't ask me why but it just smacks of a shrugging 'acceptance'Fort William is my home town. Made even more famous a few years ago when Sky sports did a section on them called "The worst team in Britain"
Considering they had gone 3 or 4 years without winning a single game, it was not without merit.
I'ts full of Scotsmen - plus when that easerly wind blows in your face complection gets hammered like that photoAye laddie - right enough. If it wasny fur the constant teeming rain it'd be the maist wonderful place on earth.
