What ever anybody thinks about Southgate, he generally beat teams like Andorra (as we should) with ease. Could'nt care less what nationality the manager is, but he must get us to perform better than that.

Southgate’s sides put 9 past these over two games in the 2022 qualifiers, I said earlier in the week it’d be laboured, I’m really not fancying our chances in Belgrade on Tuesday

In defence of the manager a lot of players that have been integral to recent success are missing at the moment for various reasons, e.g. injury (Stones, Palmer, Saka, Bellingham) or simply loss of form (Foden, Grealish). Others are retired or close to retirement (Walker, Henderson, Trippier). It's not an easy time at the moment for England. An England squad without all those players looks a little bit underwhelming. We just need to muddle our way through to the world cup and hopefully things will be more settled come next summer. I'd take a draw in Belgrade tomorrow no question.

Used to go to all England away in the late 90s. Good fun with my mates and met so many amazing people in Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania. But really mate the absolute scum of the earth English there. Stopped going after Slovakia away after repeately seeing England fans destroy bars that had made us welcome. Dread to think what it was like in the 80s early 90s
