Anyone read Duncs book yet?

I imagine he was operating much in the same way a NED would in a company.....effectively keeping an objective eye over the proceedings, asking the members and the candidate pertinent questions to allow themselves a better understanding.

Yeah except he wasn’t a Ned was he , sharpy was .

I just find it odd that someone with no connection to the club , other than he’d been a player there 12 years before , is in an interview for the manager .

I’ve said a few times , if he’s got a job within the club then it’d make total Sense but he didn’t . Do we think gerrard would go into the interview for slot ?

To me it feels fairly illustrative of where the club was .

Not the best analogy that Harry....Gerrard probably organised the interview, selected Slot to be the only interviewee and then made the decision:lol:.
Understand your point though.

What I meant is I don’t think successful football clubs have randomers sat in interviews, however good they were playing for the club .

If Ferguson is in the interview to replace Moyes I’ll think it’s equally ridiculous.

I imagine Duncan will believe he's entitled to be in there

Nerve of him having a go at a real Everton player like Cahill.
Cahills off the field antics leave a lot to be desired, cozying up with oil regimes and agents trying to ruin our club. No questioning his ability desire and commitment on the field, a far better player on every sense than Dunc, but not a great human.

I'd still have him over the fraud with the book to sell.

Went and saw him at Whitley bay last night. It’s a cracking evening, he has so many stories.

He did make a comment about when the ā€˜Russians’ owned us but quickly caught himself and changed it to ā€˜the Iranian, Moshiri’ šŸ˜‚

Some people have more money than sense though. One lad in the audience had already paid for meet and greet, but then paid £400 for a shirt for him to sign and get a photo (he had brought a Newc shirt with him to sign and already had a photo in the meet and greet). Then paid £1500 for a shearer signed shirt and a dan burn signed carabao cup shirt.

Most of them made up.
