Tennis 2024

Djokovic wilted badly in the third and Alcaraz takes it 6-2.

I’m happy though as I really like Alcaraz and him vs Sinner has been very fun so far.
Testament to the old campaigner he can still go this deep in a slam. They've all got twenty years on him. He's difficult to like though.
Alcaraz seems the most likeable young success on the tour untainted by the other stuff*.
Maybe we've been spoiled, we've had two decades of the best tennis there's been shared out between 5 or 6 top talents, history says it's usually a top two repeatedly until a change of the guard. Funny how it turned up when a couple of the ladies were so destructive at the top.

Alcaraz and Sinner are basically Federer and Nadal before Djokovic came along. Will be interesting to see if a similar equivalent to him pops up to challenge them as currently they are miles ahead of everyone else. Djok is still ahead of everyone else barring those two.

There’s the young Brazilian lad, Joao Fonseca, who there is a lot of hype about so maybe it could be him.
