Chiefs simply have to play better if they want to be real contenders again. Last season’s BSing their way to wins week after week just isn’t happening again.

They were great last season by and large, but yeah that 15-1 record (before the Broncos dead rubber) was insane given how close a lot of the games were and that surely wasn't gonna be sustainable for another season..

You need to give the Chargers some credit

They are a solid playoff team who should be in the divisional round this year

Take away the Chiefs, Ravens and Bills - they are next on the list in the AFC hierarchy imo

Leaving the last game out they were a 10 or 11 win team that went 15-1 through a combo of clutch play and crazy breaks. You’re right, it couldn’t last forever, even for them. The thing is they could still simply play better.

The defense was pretty poor though. And as good as Herbert was that’s not the most threatening offense. Ladd can play and then after that it’s guys you should handle. Can’t be letting this version of Keenan Allen kill you.

Maybe. We will see what he looks like in a couple of months after he's been taking hits for that whole time.
