Everton Ticketing Changes

How does the recipient of a fowarded ST, via the club site, receive the ticket, QR code or download link on email, or do you have to do something on their Everton website account first to accept it? Thanks
 

Thanks, but im trying to forward my ST to my dad. Spent all afternoon and now the evening for him to try accepting it. Anyone else received a forwarded ST from someone in their network and had issues accepting it?
It takes the ticket into basket then error's with
"Unfortunately, the item you selected do not have a common delivery method assigned, please purchase separately"
WTAF
It wants him to put in card details.

Am I missing something here, shouldn't there not be any card details required, it's free to receive a ST ticket isn't it?

All I can think and this is a wild guess , but he has to pay for it and you get a refund.

I began thinking that, but that'd be bonkers, administrative nightmare for Everton and they can't get the simple stuff correct.
But this confirmed my initial thoughts, no payment necessary


And they wonder why burner phones are involved. Their digital presence is shocking.
Cmon surely I'm not the only one on here transferred a ST to my network via EFC account and it's not worked 🤬

Thought of something else, check in account management that you can assign tickets to him , apologies if you’ve already looked !

Thanks mate, yes I've applied both Assign and manage. One of which totally removes the forwarded ticket from his account.
Have to be another phone call on Monday, when it'll be a long wait due to palace ballot opening
I passed on a ticket to my mate by adding him to my friends and family, plus able to assign and manage each others tickets.
I forwarded the emai i had received from Everton notifying me of my ticket, there is a box on the email to add the ticket to Google wallet (or iphone equivelant).
My mate just clicked on the box and it loaded onto his wallet, it still has my name etc on the ticket, but its on his phone to use on the day.

Is this a ballot ticket you had bought or your ST mate? Im talking about forwarding my ST. I can forward my ST, but when he attempts to accept on his account it just fudges up.

Because its your dad if you cant sort it easily couldn't you just delete the season ticket from your wallet and send him your original season ticket email to download to his wallet?

Yes that would be plan B, on the basis I'm going villa beforehand (he's having Wham), and don't want to screw up me getting in that. Presumably there's a few on here done that and it's been ok getting the ST back after used? Im guessing the recipient just deletes from their wallet after the game

I have my ST on an iPhone 6 ( which doesn’t have a SIM card) and 11 , I’ve used them both to get in without a problem and they’re both updated to the Villa game.

My lads got our 2 in his name, he just forwarded the email to me and it gives the option "Add to wallet"
So we've got both tickets in each others wallets
