2025/26 David Moyes

I liked Dyche until I disliked him in his final season. Made up blag claims about us expecting Europe, put his own limits on what his team was capable of, made the same repeated mistakes and blamed the team when they didn’t work. Sucked the little joy I had left watching Everton as he did from the players
Couldn't disagree with any of that, he was terrible in his last season and the football got far worse.

I always used to love having Scottish players at our club, they seemed to have an extra passion for the game somehow, now of course we don't see clubs looking to sign from the Scottish Premiership anymore, they just look abroad, times have changed.
Glad we've got a Scot as manager & glad its David Moyes, love him. 💙

I have no Scottish connections in case you think that's why I've posted this!

Moyes has coached two of my favourite midielders, that have a certain glide to the game, Arteta and Rice.

With that breadth of experience it'll be interesting to see over the coming season how he develops the midfield.

Will he play Garner at 6 later on. A lot would depend on whether he can get stronger playing to the left.

Exciting prospects elsewhere come into play, with options. Gana at no.8 or Dibling.

Could the young fella handle the contact of such a central position, maybe one for the longer term.

Gana gives an area of the field to break from at 8.

Still, CR pairing of Garner Dibling could realise the same pressure as Garner Gana in coverage and breakdown. And what a launch pad that could be.

Over another summer we could see
DH Garner Dibling with Grealish and Ndaiye forward, either side of a spear.

- One may take one last forward dream, before the throes of autumn descend upon us
