Me lad bumped into Eddie Marsan in town told him they were filming Clayface there.
Wouldn't say what his role is
Said he's a nice bloke though.
From Wiki -
After expressing interest in a Clayface horror film both publicly and to DC Films for their DC Extended Universe (DCEU) franchise, Flanagan pitched the project to the newly formed DC Studios in March 2023. The film and Flanagan's involvement were confirmed in December 2024 as part of the DCU, the successor to the DCEU. Flanagan was unable to direct the film due to scheduling issues. Watkins was hired in February 2025, Amini was rewriting the script by May, and Harries was cast in June. Additional casting took place in the following months. Filming began in August 2025 with location filming in Liverpool, England, while soundstage work occurs at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

I wouldn't say he was that positive.

He basically said the stadium was a nightmare to get into, it wasn't a sell out as billed and it's a bit like Spurs ground and a massive difference to Goodison.
If ever a post was representative of the author it's this one Dave. You're right, he did say all those things, he also said a lot of positive things too.

At this point it's unclear to me whether your hearing/brain subconsciously filters out anything positive, or whether you hear it and then wilfully ignore anything that can't just be turned into a negative. 🤷‍♂️

Most of what this lad liked about Goodison and other "proper football grounds" is stuff that you would never replicate in a new build. But he seemed impressed with the overall experience save the ticketing issue which should be ironed out eventually.

My point was that he should have just been blown away by the environment and stadium its set in instead of pointing at minor difficulties of queuing or seeing a few empty terracing.
