David Brent: Life on the Road

I haven’t seen this for years, I forgot how cringeworthy David Brent is and how well Ricky Gervais plays him.

But the inconstancy in characters and pacing was jarringly obvious. All his band mates couldn’t stand him, but miraculously warm to him the in the last 10 minutes for literally no other reason than the story demanding it.

I know you won't to miss out @Rita_Poon
I made a similar post in the cwc thread in world football.

It's not just me is it...

"Conjuring the last rites", a franchise that was on the whole average, spin offs like Robert, Annabelle were truly awful, I watched this happy that it was classed as the last one, unfortunately the last few frames hint that there is more to come, overall a disappointing end to a disappointing series of film

Watched Any given Sunday yesterday. Seen it many times, but it’s another movie that gets better with every watch. Noticed it was released in the USA 3 days before Christmas 1999. To me it seems like a Summer blockbuster, but for it to be released then would’ve been an absolute treat for Americans. Also features one of the great movie speeches.

Switched the first one after ten minutes and that was that for the Conjuring franchise for me.

It’s hard to see how something so average has made so much money.

Watched the pursuit of happyness again

Decent film based on a true story however the mum just flying to New York to work in a restaurant and leaving her kid behind with the dad was a bit weird

Also he sold more of his portable bone density scanners as a part time weekend salesman when he had the internship than he did when he was selling them as a full time job

Just some plot holes I guess that I observed

Just like the saw film franchise

Every saw film you think is going to be the last one in the franchise but they keep churning them out
