lucky some lads don't remember stuart barlow brett angel micheal branch be some melt down here.

I mean he scored 8 in half a season of starting. I suspect he can top that and reach 13 if he starts each week.
13 goals would be level with our former strikers second best ever output.
When was the last time we had a striker score 13 Percy?
How much are 1 in 2 strikers worth, baring in mind the prices of strikers in today's market?DCL is better than Beto and DCL wasnāt good enough for Everton, so start there. Iām not a scout. Forest signed Chris Wood from Burnley, now despite your nonsense, heās not a Ā£70m striker, but heās clearly better than Beto as well.
As said, Iād love Beto to tuck 20 goals this season, but we all know he will do well to get half that, in the meantime I worry about the damage he will do to our results given his atrocious hold up play and given he will be our main solo striker until Jan at least.
Iām putting myself in a position of no win here, if he stinks the place out vs Villa and we lose then I wonāt take any joy in that, but Iām sure Iāll be tagged if we win and he plays a pivotal role. Letās see how this plays out as thereās nothing that can be done now.
As I just said Iām not a scout, I wouldnāt have had the skill set to scout Wood, Mbeuno, Wissa and the likes. How much are 1 in 2 strikers worth, baring in mind the prices of strikers in today's market?
Once again, if Beto isn't good enough for Everton, what is good enough? This isn't a tough question.
Jesus Christ Percy just answer the question, what is your expectation for Everton currently? As I just said Iām not a scout, I wouldnāt have had the skill set to scout Wood, Mbeuno, Wissa and the likes.
All Iām saying is Beto isnāt good enough for Everton, youāre saying he is. Letās seeā¦.
You mean THIS DCL ?Like DCL? Or did he not play under Dyche? One thing is for sure, Beto isnāt capable of putting the performance that DCL did in Dycheā first game against Arsenal. Thatās an absolute fact. DCL didnāt even score that day, but his performance was incredible.
I think Iāve answered that. If we can pay Grealish Ā£250k per week we can get a better striker than Beto. Iām not a scout, I barely watch Everton, never mind European football. If you think Beto is the best stinker we can get then thatās on you, maybe you know more than me, you probably do.Jesus Christ Percy just answer the question, what is your expectation for Everton currently?
Grealish has nothing to do with our striking options though? How about take a look at how expensive every striking option has been and how they've all gone to top 6 clubs. Even Delap chose to sit on a bench. And no you still havenāt answered it.I think Iāve answered that. If we can pay Grealish Ā£250k per week we can get a better striker than Beto. Letās see how many he scores as our main man under Moyes. Time will tell.
Thatās clearly not the DCL I referenced and I also said it was proven DCL wasnāt good enough. You mean THIS DCL ?

Really beating Beto's 12 goals there in 2 seasons, 7+3 = 10 that's better than 12 because it's closer to #1![]()
Answered what? The fact Moyes was so desperate for Delap means nothing to you?Grealish has nothing to do with our striking options though? Brick walls would offer more answers. I'm tapping out, God Speed with this one Jake.Answered what? The fact Moyes was so desperate for Delap means nothing to you?
Cool. See you in May when Beto has 8 league goals (at best)Brick walls would offer more answers. I'm tapping out, God Speed with this one Jake.
Did not score many other days either. Not blaming him to be fair, we have played mostly negative football for absolutely years and his job was exhausting for little reward. Even back when we had Dunc he spent most of his time trying to rescue turgid tactics. Not really blaming the managers either because they mostly had no money (Moyes would easily have got a trophy with an extra few quid) or under Moshiri early on, had it spent for them on rubbish.Like DCL? Agree. Looks like we have our best owners in decades.Did not score many other days either. The blame lies at the top and our club has been a shambles since John Moores, we just got very lucky in the mid-eighties. At least we appear to now be owned by professionals, here is hoping.
The irony is the imagery you showed has shown that DCL scored 10 in 58 whilst defending Beto who has scored 12 in 63 as though thatās some sort of definitive proof of something, despite me saying neither are good enough![]()
