What has happened to Mathys Tel at Spurs? Loaned from Bayern, didn’t pull up trees but made perm anyway, and now left out of their CL squad?! All a bit mental.

It was an obligation to buy on the loan wasn't it @Yid4life ?

Doesn't seem like he's that wanted there at the moment but they got stuck with him.

I've read some things that give the impression that he's a bit Vlasic, as in he's clearly got some talent but just has no real clue on how to apply it effectively in any particular position. One of those players that looks alright at everything but stands out at nothing to make him start over anyone else with a more specific skill set.

Funny listening to local commentary at least, as we were “doing well” apparently, despite the fact at the time we didn’t go past the halfway line and the passage of play was the goalie and the left back passing it to each other 5 times.

Koeman quite bad btw. Without Frimpong we were toothless on the right. Simons is not a right winger.

Bummer, with a win we could have booked our tickets for the WC already. No real harm done but still...
