West Ham Ballot Results

I entered the ballot for Wham on 29 Sep and:

  • I got a ticket

    Votes: 29 59.2%
  • I was unsuccessful

    Votes: 20 40.8%

  • Total voters
    49

Tell me about it. I would’ve thought at least 1/3 so far. I’ve still managed to get tickets to all games so far but, I feel, I shouldn’t have to be scrambling about on the resale every game when FB+ members were said to get priority for tickets.

I know it’s a ballot and the whole point is that it’s ā€˜randomised’ and anyone can get lucky but if it gets to four games and no joy, I’ll be letting them know my thoughts on the process.

It must be especially galling for people who haven’t even got tickets on resale yet there are consistently, so far, pockets of empty seats around the ground cos the club have sold packages to these hospitality companies.
Feel for the 0/3. The 4th ballot puts the ticket price from £70 to £82,50p. ( FB+ fee )

I think all in all, the ballot has probably achieved as a success.
I know some people are saying they are 0/3 and thats unfortunate, but its alot fairer process then allowing bots clogging the site up at 10am everytime tickets are on sale
Genuinely more chance of getting one the old way.

I got hold of a ticket for most games that I tried last year with the old system.

Only missed out on Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Southampton.

So far I’m 0/2 and more than likely 0/3 as I’ve not heard anything about West Ham yet.

Thought the new ground would allow me to get a season ticket. Was disappointed to miss out but paid the £60 thinking I'll get to lots of games that way. I'd like to know how many people have paid for the enhanced membership Vs how many tickets are available per game.

I'd not really looked at the premium tickets before. I thought block 229 was just standard admission. How is this good value?

The principle is fine, the execution is not.

The club should be clearer about the mechanics. I particularly want to know if they count all ballot entries equally, regardless of whether you want 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 tickets, or if you’re more likely to win if you only want a single.

Also, and most crucially, it should be weighted so that people who haven’t been successful on one ballot have a better chance in the next one - and so on until they are guaranteed to win one.

Successful email today about 1pm.
That's my first win, so 1/3 for me so far on FB+ ballot

Managed to get a Brighton and Villa on resale no bother, so 3/3 for matches
