New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Crazy how they signed off on 52k. We’d fill 60 no probs. Should have been 60 with a future modular option to 65, 70, 75 to match our ambitions.
We haven’t sold out any of our games yet. Brighton was 51k and Mansfield was 48k.

I agree on the expansion bit though. There may come a time when we need that size stadium, but it’s not now.

That’s purely administrative, though. The club has made decisions on segregation and how many tickets they are offering to Seat Unique etc.

The demand is there to more than sell-out every game.

Hearing RAWK are organising a protest to defund the BBC due to Everton’s stadiums receiving more screen time than the hole punch.
I know it’s extremely childish but since reading it on here I’ve described it as the hole punch most days. RS instantly laugh and then it dawns on them that their stadium is hideous compared to ours. Love it.

I think there`s plenty of demand for general admission entry rather than the corporate seats. We have been so use to going to the local pubs, and then just rocking up to Goodison to watch the match and then heading back for a post-mortem back in the pub, I think maybe folks might need a bit of time to adapt to having a stadium that you can head up to well before KO time and get fed and plenty of drinks in comfort before and after the game.

Thats a red herring.

For most games this season the demand will be there for well over 60K if the club sold the tickets in a normal way.

Both Brighton and Mansfield were declared sell outs well in advance of the game starting. The Brighton game must have been related to the expensive tickets given to companies like Seat Unique and others like Sports Breaks.

Have you seen the prices? £207.00 on Sports Breaks for a ticket to see us play Palace and the prices on Seat Unique for Villa range from £259 to £949 per person. We're not a tourist club.

With Mansfield, there was 500 empty in the away section, a massive empty area for segregation and quite a few won't have turned up due to it being £15 and some unable to easily pass on tickets like we could at Goodison. Seems Everton are actually declaring real attendances too whereas clubs like West Ham just say its a 62K sell out when there are visible empty seats all over the ground.

Yeah, absolutely.

The ballots are massively over-subscribed, so the demand for a normal match ticket is there.

Unfortunately - but understandably - Everton are trying to squeeze as much out of us as they can, hence a large chunk going to Seat Unique.

I expect that to reduce over time, the club ultimately want to sell every seat, so there will be more available in the ballots in time.

We've sold out every match.

I.e. the club have said on the ticketing website that they have been sold out and Evertonians can't buy anymore despite wanting to (the only reasonable measure).

That certain corporate seats havent been re-sold on is a different matter entirely, as is the away end.

They're declaring sell outs to push the matchday corporate and corporate lite sales. They're testing that market, seeing how far that they can push it.

I think they're playing with fire with Seat Unique packages. We don't have the vast out of town or International support of our neighbours, with thousands of fans prepared to spend small fortunes every week for once a year or even once a lifetime visits. There's a chance that we'll see large numbers of away fans in home sections for certain team's visits.
