He's used to being a starter...I doubt this CL team he keeps referring to was looking at him as a starter or, consequently, looking to pay him the starters wage he was looking for. But hey, they are a CL team so it sounds good in the press and on paper. You're not going to Leeds over somewhere offering a CL starting spot; the delusional tits. Just more of the PR tomfoolery that goes on to keep fans onside.

I'm 99.99% that this "Champions League" club is Rangers, which is really stretching it.

He wasn't being linked with anyone too seriously before the Leeds move happened but I saw a few links to them.

But 100% they were never going to sign him as in the big scheme of things they don't have a pot to pee in and their top earners will only be on about £25k per week if that.
 

He must be fuming with our recruitment who are creating chances and started well.

He could have slotted into Beto position and just found himself in the box getting supplied by Grealish, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall and Dibling.

Especially with it being a World Cup year and the lack of England options.
