Maybe there was good reason trying to sign Ben Chilwell.
I think that a lot of elite level players would have what is, on the face of it, a bad injury record when you look at transfermarkt. Such is the speed of the modern game, it is generally more rare to find someone who starts regularly for their team who doesn't pick up regular injuries than does![]()
Vitaliy Mykolenko - Injury history
This is the injury history of Vitaliy Mykolenko from FC Everton. On this page injuries as well as suspensions.www.transfermarkt.co.uk
I don’t think it’s debatable that he is very brittle and prone to niggling injuries.
Normally I'd agree - but we had a supposed 'reliable' source tell us just the other week that Grealish was injured soNo smoke without fire when Everton is concerned. If its the same injury, and it took 18 days to heal before, I am sure you can do the maths..

Dear Ukraine,
Take it up with Utd.
I don’t believe a club has the power to stop a player from being called up by their country for international gamesIsn't it a bit strange for an already injured / literally only just returned from a relatively serious injury player to go away on international duty and potentially play two games inside of a week? Everton should have prevented him from going or at the very least told him his starting position is not here for him if he prioritises his country over getting fully fit first.
Everton can't stop a player when called for international duties, unfortunately...perhaps everton should have not played him for the full 90 in both the league cup and the pl fixture at wolves. You could see at wolves he was done fitness wise by the 60th minutes. Saying this, even if we had rested myko against wolves, I am sure that ukraine will have make him play the full 90 in both their games. The moral of the story is that time and time again the internationals in September and then quickly after in October is a killer for team like us.Isn't it a bit strange for an already injured / literally only just returned from a relatively serious injury player to go away on international duty and potentially play two games inside of a week? Yeah I get that, but at least kin tell him he's risking further injury if he's played twice as he's only just returning from injury. If he still chooses to accept that call up then the club will look to play somebody else more committed to the club.I don’t believe a club has the power to stop a player from being called up by their country for international games
Who? Who else would we play?Yeah I get that, but at least kin tell him he's risking further injury if he's played twice as he's only just returning from injury. If he still chooses to accept that call up then the club will look to play somebody else more committed to the club.
Garner did ok, and Aznou will be reaching fitness soon and should get a go if Mykolenko wants to behave like Coleman and prioritise country over the club that's made him a multi millionaire.Who? Who else would we play?

So a right footed midfielder or a lad that I'm not sure Moyes wanted. I don't think Mykolenko will be getting dropped for playing for his country anytime soon, tbh.Garner did ok, and Aznou will be reaching fitness soon and should get a go if Mykolenko wants to behave like Coleman and prioritise country over the club that's made him a multi millionaire.
We don't know that though, Aznou hasn't been available for any games in the league yet.Yet we know moyes will probably play garner there before aznou.
