2025/26 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

The club scheduling a friendly at the same time the men were playing whilst doubling the price vs last year seems to have worked a treat. Was the gwladys busy?
3,000 were there, with only 2 sides open as they closed other parts down ready for the WSL, including behind the goal just 2 days before the game, forcing people into other areas. Still prefered they stayed at WHP myself for a bit, but they were always moving to Goodison

3000 is actually a pretty strong showing in that case. Hopefully we break 5k a few times this season.

We had a 3rd deal for a Leicester player in May all set to go, on what would have been our 1st official signing of the summer. The player would have been a free, but for whatever reason we changed our mind on her at on her last minute. Sorensen impressed her so much that she went from only wanting to go to a London Team to a few days later confirming she would move to Everton. She after no London Club came in for her just last month signed a new 1 year contract there

So many new players that I wonder if it’ll take a while for him to work out his best 11. He has a habit of playing players out of position, not sure Robinson is best utilised at right back.

That is were she was brought in to play - if it's stuck too, Instead of been normal and getting a RB, or just move one of our other defenders, 3 of which have played RB in the past at previous clubs

So where are we at? I try to watch watch Everton, but don't follow WSL.

I've noticed that there's a lot of optimism, but we've seen that before. Without delivering when the season starts.

After finishing 8th two seasons I was hoping for more this season, but did see that Guardian's WSL writers predicted Everton to be 8th again in their season preview.

Are we at a point where the league as a whole strengthens a lot year on year, so we need to invest and bring in better players to keep last years results? Or should we realistically target 5th and be "best of the rest"?
