New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

From a BBC article about a Peruvian tall ship going to the pier head:

The stadium seems to be a good photo op now.
The Peruvian connection to Liverpool is the shipping of guano (bird 💩 ) to Britain and mainland Europe. It was a fertilizer. Mined by slave and 'coolie' labour in the 19th century.

'We've moved from 'founding fathers' to 'founding partners'.

The club knew exactly what traditions they were tapping into there by eluding to the people who saved this club from the booze hound Tory scum, Houlding. To (mis)use the word foundation in relation to commercial vampires like Budweiser, Pepsi, Red Bull, Christopher Ward is as tasteless and lacking in any respect for our past as it gets.
Could have run with "as tasteless as the beer". Opportunity missed.

Agh really? It will take that long to repair a window?
It’s not just that according to some posts on the matter in here. There was a story on the official site about it last week.

Supporters are advised that Everton Way will be closed from next week, in order to complete essential works to the South Stand.

There will be no public access to Everton Way from Monday 1 September, with the aim to re-open the paved walkway at the south end of Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday 13 September, ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa.

Any sign of a screed?
