I looked into it and it happens if you switch VPN on while there’s an active session. Of course I’m sure you have no need for a VPN when browsing the internet from the UK lately pal.

There's plenty of legitimate uses for a VPN:

- Privacy when you're on an unsecured network
- encrypt your data for security
- watch Brazilian fart porn
- prevent network throttling
- get access to streaming services that aren't in the UK
