2025/26 Nathan Patterson

Approximately 73% of Lampard’s games as Everton manager Patterson wasn’t properly fit or available (32/44)

Of the Games Patterson was actually fit/available for ≈ 12 - he played in 10 of them.

When he was fit, Lampard picked him.

So yeah let’s look at what you’ve said and why it’s total horse excrement.

How naive can you get.

You dont actually think he was injured for all that time do you? It's what manager's say when they dont want to play a player "he's not quite fit"...just like Moyes is doing now with Aznou.

FFS.

Et voila

A conspiracy theory that cannot be disproved. How convenient

So the Manager only played him under threat of contract, and when he didn't play, the club lied about injury

And we're naive for not putting this together ourselves

Quite insulting of you really

You know, it is fine for some of our Managers to have rated him, played him, for him to have played ok some times, well others, and poorly in other instances, and for there to be nuance associated with that, right?

Life is incredibly complex, easy though it is to boil it down to some kind of blunt explanation, there's often more to it

I think maybe you should find god if you want a simple rationale for this complexity

All the clamor about us not signing a right back before the deadline and everyone is acting as if Patterson doesn't exist.

Not saying he isn't without weaknesses but with other utility men being able to fill in wide (and sometimes playing 3atb) it's not like we're totally without cover in this position.
The clamor is more to do with it being the first transfer the club tried to do was get that right back from Fulham in.

It’s sad when people have such weird agendas based primarily on sectarian bullshire.

He’s not been good enough this is true, but people who make decisions on players based on green hoops or blue shirts should have died in the 1980s

I don't care who he has played for in the past.

I don't like either Celtic or Rangers, they are both a stain on Scotland as far as I'm concerned.

Good me too, so as someone who has an English accent because of said sectarian violence you can understand my utmost distain for people who base their sole opinions primarily on sectarianism.

But let’s not lie about the stats. He played most of the time he was available and deemed fit (whether you believe that or not i really DGAF) 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's also totally fine to say that you didn't rate him when he did play

Just don't go about concocting bizarre conspiracies to explain away the opinions others

You're trying to plait diarrhoea, you've got no chance, have an extensive overview of a few going after agent smith, and not one has pinned him, a few got close but he just fades away like the tide and then closes in again at a new angle. It's easier to laugh at him.

Edit: re the last line, let's not tempt fate eh.

100% - he’s not been of a standard since Dyche slapped him.

but these weird tin foil hat jackanory stories are right up there with the weird internet crap you get.

Still it was was pretty damming on the lad as it was right back being the first attempt of new regime tried sign. Reckon he is way down the pecking order, Obrien will continue to be integrated into first team like Lescott all those year back and will slot into Tarks position next season/ish. Patterson as it is now is essentially finished in Everton's first team.
