Seems promising what we're doing with our academy looking at that. I thought Benfica were supposed to have one of the most highly rated/productive academies in the world atm.

Early days of course but 2 or 3 promising players there plus 2 or 3 more still at u16/15 level. We do though ( in my view) have a problem then converting them into decent u21 players then decent EFL players let alone PL players. Just got to enjoy them when they play , have a degree of expectation, and a degree of hope.

I don't think there's many places still open in pro football. I've fully accepted he's here for at least another 6 months-2 years now

Yeh appreciate it's unlikely but still a small chance he could go somewhere like Netherlands or Belgium, a team like the one Welch went to last year
