Pity we couldn’t get a right back in, seem to be as rare as hen’s teeth in Everton’s world.
Apart from that it’s been a really good window. I was critical of the transfer team with how drawn out the Dibling deal seemed to be but it got done in the end.
As someone posted earlier, this was a very dangerous window with all the players that left but we’ve come out of it far stronger. We have some really good players here now with real quality that can be competitive in this league.
With this group, Moyes and the backroom staff, there’s no reason why we can’t finish in the top half. Where we belong.

This feels like a very 2025 thing thats going on, lots of polls etc about rating the window. I think only in time we'll be able to tell.

If Aznou and Barry turn out to be incredible come December and KDH and Grealish carry on doing well it will be a good window.

Been a while since i felt so good about an Everton window. Lord knows we've had to put up with some real dreary stuff these past seasons, but there's a feelgood factor about not worrying with the PSR/economic side of things.

Despite some positions looking a tad thin (when have we ever not had that? We're not Chelsea or Citeh ffs), there's clearly a better squad at Finch Farm today than the lot that finished last season.

We have got at least five players in that are serious competition for the first XI, and that improve upon last year. More importantly, they are already showing that they're an improvement and a way of solving our impotency in attack.

We have done well with outgoings and the team seems better for it. Out of five senior loan players, only Alcaraz proved worth adding, and it doesn't look like we're worse off having dropped deadwood like Chermiti, Young, Maupay, Holgate, DCL and Doucoure.

Excited to see the new names out on the field. Have to go at least 5 years back (that summer when Carlo came in and we got Allan, James and Douc among others) to find anything close. It's a 9 out of 10 for me.

I think we should also factor in that we didn't lose anyone we didn't want to e.g. Branthwaite, Ndiaye, Gueye and that a lot of the clubs that finished above us last season did not really strengthen and in many cases lost key players e.g. Brighton (Joao Pedro), Aston Villa (Jacob Ramsey), Bournemouth (Illia Zabarny, Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen), Brentford (Yoane Wissa, Brian Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard), Fulham, Crystal Palace (Eberechi Eze). I would suggest our transfers have left us with a stonger squad than all of those teams (maybe with the exception of Villa).

8/10
We have been solid with O'Brien at right back so I am not too bothered by the lack of overlapping full-backs as we now have so much more creativity everywhere else

A lot are mentioning about only having 2 strikers but realistically how often does that third striker actually play? Chermiti hardly ever got on the pitch for us tbh. I imagine if one of Beto/Barry is injured then Ndiaye will fill in up front when necessary
How often does a reserve goalkeeper play? You still need one. We are two injuries away from not being able to field a striker.

so if desperate

o’brien/coleman/garner aye!
Is a few things on it obrien is fine at rb, coleman we really dont kno how he will react if needed this season esp with the injuries picked up last couple of seasons. Garner can do a job yes but then taking him out of the midfield and would argue a starter in cm so changing two positions not just one. Then well patterson need i say more, i grt the frustrations at rb because like lb have ignored for years. Been a good window but you always want more as a fan

I'd be interested to see a re-run of this vote in December... because really, there's no way of knowing how happy we are with the window now.

The proof is in the pudding - and the pudding, in this case, is a football.
