Don't know anything about him. Watched a yt video. Looks like a big unit who seems to swipe off opposition players. Seems to have similar attributes to Armstrong but maybe with a bit more bulk and experience. Welcome him, hope he does his stuff

From what I could see in the highlights reel.

1. He is strong, there were so many instances, where he just brushed off the opposing player, as if swatting flies.
2. He is a little awkward at times, as if doen't know what to with his body, his feet.
3. He is tenacious, a bulldog.
4. He is great at breakup opposition play.
5. He is still raw. Probably at the right place for future growth.

My understanding after looking at him for all of five minutes...

He is probably not ready yet, but if he comes through unscathed through the growing up journey, he will be massive, figuratively and literally. I reckon, we are looking at him as a long-term replacement for Gana, maybe!!!

He’s 23 and played over 100 first team games. He needs to be ready to perform if called on or he shouldn’t have been signed. That’s not to say he can’t get better too.

I get that and agree. My point of him being raw is based on the assumption (and I will freely admit I have no idea at all) that he has been brought in to replace Gana in the long term. He needs to grow into that role.

Anyone wondering who he plays like, he's been consistently likened in style to a young Leon Goretzka...a dynamic, all pressing, versatile number 8, who can carry the ball, with a knack for the odd goal. Like Goretzka, he can play anywhere in the middle - dm, cm, or am, but seems best suited at the 8.

So please don't compare him to Doucouré again. It's lazy.
