Real solid 8 for me.

Have to take it into context some of the horrendous starting line ups we’ve had last season and years prior, compared to now.

But seriously solid window that’s made us fun to watch again, and the start of a long road out of misery, and away from some truly appalling footballers.

Points marked down for the obvious right back situation. And for the early faffing around of the right wing targets. Did well in the end to get dibbling for a reduced fee though so credit there.

Long term fixes still needing for me Right back, Striker, Gana understudy and a decent versatile winger. McNeil is one we good really do with upgrading on we are still a bit light on the wings all things considered.

We released a lot of players who were a drain on our wage bill who contributed nothing and also released players who contributed very little. I’m still worried about our full back cover. If we’d got Tete over the line early on - it would have made such a difference. Would have loved Ake to provide LB and CH cover. I’m greedy, but still think we’re a little short up front. Would have loved Muani on loan up front - before spurs got him late in the window. However to see the impact KDH and In particular Grealish have made is fantastic. Dibling is a talent and is definitely one for the future. I’d give it 8/10 overall.

I went for a 6. bearing in mind the past few windows it's been in the 1-3 region.

very good getting in players with quality AND a point to prove in Hall and Grealish.

I feel like the other signings, whilst I'm happy we got bodies in and they are of a good age where they can improve, I think they are big gambles.

I also feel with Keane not suitable for a whole season, OBrien playing out of position, Tarkowski 33 years old and Branthwaite struggling for fitness, we've left ourselves short at the back.

that all said, I'm happier than previous years, hence the 6 and not the 3.

But we’re only going with TWO strikers
That could be risky

And everyone’s obsessed with this RB
Ffs
Could be risky but Ndiaye if desperate could play there. We have TWO strikers we have 0 right backs that should be playing, our best RB is actually a 6’ 6” CB 😂 no wonder people are obsessed with a RB a position that’s been needed for near on 4/5 years now
