7, needed a RB in, strange after going after and failing for Tete they never went for another one. Excellent midfield signings, as for the strikers Barry looks incredibly raw but time will tell. Overall pretty good but could have been better.

It's a very very solid 7 for me...

Good GK backup
Potential for LB
Grealish Class totally transforms us
KDH classy
Dibling serious potential
Striker Potential in Barry..
And seemingly a very promising German midfielder....

£18m collected from sales isn't sustainable
Specialized Right Back
And a forward away from being 10/10

7 from me. Would have been an 8 if we got a RB in even on loan. Was one of our priorities so disappointed in that but overall happy, especially in the middle of the park.

Feeling a lot more positive than I did at the start of the summer, early indications are good but I worry for the depth of the squad. However, Rome wasn’t built in a day and it’s a great start to building a competitive side.

Wider than that the club has been restructured, new ground and new recruitment team. I think the future is looking bright, hopefully not another false dawn.

7.5, but rounded to 8 for positivity. Replaced every major outgoing with a better, younger, more reliable player and added lots of attacking quality. Could be better but having known how badly things can go if you just throw money at the problem with Moshiri, think the club have been incredibly smart this year. Going a bit unsaid that we go most of our major big targets like KDH, Barry, Dibling and Grealish (especially), despite long negotiations.

I'd much prefer to be with the Friedkins who maybe don't waste money on players who may not even play, versus Moshiri's scattergun with things like the El Ghazi deal for the sake of it, among many others.

6 or 7 but could have been a 9.

Two issues:

Not signing a right back is insane. For example Sunderland have signed 2 very decent RBs in the past couple of weeks, whilst already having one (Hume) who walks into our starting 11.

We may struggle during AFCON. A couple of injuries on top and it looks challenging.

Disappointed we didn’t get a right back, but overall we have had a solid window. Our attacking threat now is next level, and when our defence is all fit, it’s very solid. People can complain about depth, but if Palace, Bournemouth, Brighton, Villa etc…. Lose one of their staring 11 it’s a huge drop off for them too
