8. RB was the big miss. But we got one of the most influential players on the market without a ridiculous current or future obligation. The majority of the signings were on the better side of youth.

7 for me on balance - which is still a good mark.

There have been some belters signed obvs, but the lack of attention to the well-known areas of need may well bite us on the bum in due course.

It's an 8 for me.

Grealish is a massive coup.

KDH has fit in well. Charly was a must at that price.

Some great youngsters in Dibling, Aznou, and Barry for reasonable prices.

Just missing that right back which I can't wrap my head around us not getting one in but overall you can't say it's not been improvements to both the first 11 and the squad profile/age.

…..the new regime were left in a right mess with so many players out of contract. I think the renewals were pragmatic (Gueye, Keane) whilst not being held to ransom by others (DCL, Doucoure). Having strict understanding of a players worth is a good sign. Early acquisition of Alcaraz.

A few key signings I wasn’t overly keen on (Grealish, KDH) but Moyes explained he wanted greater quality in possession, particularly top third. He’s bringing in what we need, the signing of Grealish already looking a gem and raising our profile too.

Funny that our two big money signings (Barry and Dibling) were both on the bench at the weekend, but adding Rohl and Aznou is an indication of strategy of young players with real potential.

There was so much to do, unlikely it would happen in one window. We won’t truly know the worth until Christmas but I’d go a solid 8/10.
